## What It Does

The app turns estimator-entered positions, units per position, and average cable run into unit count, ports, cable footage with slack and waste, box count, panel count, forgotten line-item flags, cost per drop, and sell per drop.

## Core Workflows

- Build pod-by-pod low-voltage takeoffs for copper data, CCTV camera drops, access-control doors, AV outlets, and patch work.
- Keep a local cost book with unit costs, vendor names, part numbers, and optional camera barcode scan for part numbers.
- Duplicate a bid into a what-if or change-order takeoff.
- Export a GC proposal PDF, office BOM CSV, foreman order card, or copy-ready per-drop sell number.

## Offline And Privacy

Takeoff math, local storage, cost books, and report creation work on the device without accounts, backend, telemetry, cloud sync, or a release INTERNET permission. Android share targets and Google Play purchase services may use network access outside the app's offline takeoff engine.

DropTakeoff Copper is a takeoff and bid aid. It is not a stamped estimate, not a guaranteed price, and not a substitute for the estimator's own review. The estimator verifies every count, cost, assumption, exclusion, and final number before bid.
