Pick Planner DC Privacy Policy

Pick Planner DC is built by Anvilfield. The app is an offline lift-planning aid for crane load chart checks, sling tension, ground bearing, signatures, and rig card exports.

Data stored on your device

The app stores rig plans, project and site names, equipment weights, crane chart values, rigging gear rows, checklist notes, optional offload photos, signature names and images, settings, generated files, and purchase entitlement on your device.

No account or backend

Pick Planner DC has no account, login, ads, analytics SDK, app backend, or cloud sync. The calculation engine works without a network connection.

Exports

PDF, CSV, capacity-gauge PNG, and load-model exports leave the device only when you tap a share or export button and choose a target in the Android share sheet. The selected target app handles that file under its own policy.

Purchases

Google Play Billing processes subscriptions and lifetime purchases. Pick Planner DC stores a local entitlement flag after a verified purchase or restore.

Retention and deletion

Local rig plans, settings, signatures, photos, generated files, and purchase entitlement remain on the device until you delete them in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Exported copies are controlled by the target app or location you chose in the Android share sheet. Pick Planner DC has no account server or backend database, so there is no server-side account record to delete.

Security

Pick Planner DC uses app-private storage for local files, avoids broad storage permissions, disables Android cloud backup, and does not allow cleartext app traffic. Google Play Billing and Android share targets handle their own secure transport and retention under their own policies.

Permissions

The camera permission supports optional offload evidence photos. The accelerometer can read a sling-angle field check when you open the angle reader. Wakelock keeps the gate and sling screens visible while planning. The app avoids broad storage permissions by using app-private files and user-initiated share intents.

Safety

Pick Planner DC is an aid and record. It does not stamp, certify, or approve any lift. Verify every value with the crane load chart, geotech note, qualified rigger, lift director, operator, engineered plan, OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart CC, and ASME B30.
