ShaftLine DC is built as an offline field tool. It does not require an account, backend, or cloud sync.
Data stored on device
The app stores machine tags, project names, dimensions, bracket sag values, soft-foot readings, dial readings, local settings, and the cached Pro entitlement on the device. This data is used only to run the alignment workflow and recall machines.
Names typed for a Final Alignment Record are used to generate the record file. They are included only in the PDF, CSV, or ZIP that the user chooses to export.
Data deletion
The Settings screen includes Clear local job data. This deletes saved machines, projects, readings, reports, and local review-prompt state from the device. Cached Pro entitlement and display settings remain so a paid user does not lose access by clearing job data.
Data shared by the user
The app can export a Final Alignment Record as PDF, CSV, or ZIP. Export uses Android share intents. The user chooses the destination, such as email, Drive, print, or another installed app.
Purchases
If Pro is enabled through Google Play, Google Play processes the purchase. ShaftLine DC does not receive card numbers or bank details.
Reviews
If the user sees and submits a Google Play review prompt, Google Play processes that review. ShaftLine DC does not receive the review text.
Network use
The alignment engine does not call a server. Network access may occur only when Google Play Billing, Google Play review prompts, Android share targets, or print/share providers are used by the user.
