Data stored on the device

Job names, addresses, equipment details, pressure readings, editable comparison values, saved presets, report settings, and optional photos selected by the user are stored locally in the app's private storage. Processing is performed on the device.

Photos and files

The app opens Android's camera or photo selection interface only after the user chooses to add an optional image. A selected image is used locally in the job record or PDF. The app creates a PDF only when the user requests one. If the user chooses Share, Android's share interface sends the selected PDF to the destination chosen by the user. Anvilfield does not receive the photo, PDF, destination, or job data.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain on the device until the user deletes a job in the app, clears the app's Android storage, or uninstalls the app. Anvilfield has no server-side account or copy to delete. Exported files remain with the destination selected by the user and must be deleted there.

Security

Local records use Android app-private storage and the device's security controls. Users should protect access to their device and review the privacy and security practices of any destination selected for an exported file.

Children

The app is a trade calculation tool intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

If a future version changes these practices, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is distributed.
