StringerWise Privacy Policy

StringerWise is an offline stair stringer calculator from Anvilfield. The app does not create an account, run ads, or collect personal data.

Data stored on your device

StringerWise stores saved stair layouts, presets, settings, notes, and a local Pro entitlement cache on your device. The entitlement cache can include the Google Play purchase token used to verify and restore Pro access. This data stays local unless you choose to share or export a cut sheet.

Purchases

StringerWise Pro uses Google Play Billing for the one-time purchase. Google Play may process payment, tax, and account data under Google Play terms. StringerWise receives purchase status and a Google Play purchase token so the app can unlock, verify, and restore Pro features. The token is stored locally on your device and is not sent to a StringerWise server.

Sharing and exports

If you share a PDF or cut sheet, Android sends the file or text to the app you choose. StringerWise does not send exports to a server.

Network and ads

The calculator, history, presets, reference cards, and cached Pro entitlement work offline. StringerWise does not include ads or analytics. Google Play Billing may need a connection to buy, verify, or restore Pro.

Data deletion

You can delete saved layouts and custom presets individually inside the app. You can also use Clear local data in Settings to remove saved layouts, custom presets, draft inputs, settings, and the local Pro entitlement cache from this device. Clearing the local Pro cache does not cancel your Google Play purchase; use Restore purchase to unlock Pro again.
