BracePass DC Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 3, 2026

BracePass DC is an offline field calculator from Anvilfield. The app does not require an account, does not use ads, does not include analytics, and does not sync panel data to a backend.

Data Stored On Device

The app stores project names, building names, panel dimensions, openings, site conditions, checklist status, settings, and generated export file paths on your device.

Data Sharing

The app shares data only when you choose to export or share a Brace Card, CSV, or ZIP through Android share targets such as email, Drive, print, or another app. Those destination apps handle the data under their own policies.

Purchases

Google Play Billing, handles monthly, annual, lifetime purchases, and restore requests. The app reads purchase/entitlement status to unlock paid features. Google Play billing receives only the data needed to validate a purchase. BracePass DC does not send panel data to an Anvilfield backend.

Reviews

After a completed release checklist, the app may ask Google Play to show its in-app review prompt. Google Play handles that prompt. BracePass DC does not receive review text or ratings.

Permissions

The app uses motion sensors for the brace-angle field check. No sensor permission is required. Release builds include Android Internet and network-state permission, used only so Google Play Billing (via Google Play billing) can validate purchases over HTTPS; the brace engine, checklist, and exports run fully offline. Google Play Billing and review use Play services. Export sharing uses Android system share and file-provider behavior when you request it.
