BracePass DC Terms of Use
Effective date: June 17, 2026
BracePass DC is an offline field aid from Anvilfield for sizing temporary tilt-up and precast wind bracing using derived TCA 18.1 / ASCE 7-16 logic. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.
Field aid only — not engineering, not a release authority
BracePass DC is a calculation and record aid. It is not a stamped engineering bracing plan, not a substitute for the project engineer or brace manufacturer engineering, and not the crane-release or brace-removal authority. The qualified competent person and the project engineer of record govern. Verify every panel, send odd or out-of-scope panels to your project engineer, and follow OSHA 1926.704 and your site erection plan before releasing the crane or removing any brace. A "DO NOT RELEASE" or out-of-scope result must be resolved by the responsible engineer; do not override it.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for all inputs, site conditions, wind data, anchorage and deadman assumptions, field judgment, and any required legal or engineering review. Anvilfield provides the app "as is," without warranty, and is not liable for decisions made using its output. Bracing, crane-release, and brace-removal decisions are life-safety decisions that remain with qualified site personnel and the project engineer.
Offline records
The app stores project names, building names, panel dimensions, openings, site conditions, checklist status, settings, and generated export file paths on your device. Exports are field records created by you and shared only when you choose an Android share target.
Purchases
The free tier runs the full brace engine for one building and three panels. Pro unlocks unlimited panels, projects and buildings, saved presets, the exportable Set Ledger, and PDF / CSV / ZIP export. Pro is $4.99/month, $39.99/year, or $99 lifetime through Google Play Billing. Subscriptions renew until canceled in Google Play. Purchases are handled by Google Play Billing; Anvilfield does not receive your panel data.
