Deficiency Tag Loop Terms of Use
Effective date: June 4, 2026
Deficiency Tag Loop is provided by Anvilfield as an offline field documentation aid for Android. It helps trained fire-life-safety technicians write consistent deficiency wording, capture stamped photo evidence, and track re-inspect dates.
Documentation aid only
Deficiency Tag Loop is not a code authority, an inspection certification, or a substitute for the applicable standard. NFPA standards, manufacturer instructions, local rules, site rules, the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), and the judgment of the qualified technician govern. The app does not declare a system compliant or safe.
User responsibility
You are responsible for confirming code references, severity, re-inspect intervals, and the accuracy of every record and photo before sharing it with a property owner, AHJ, or other party. Suggested wording and intervals are starting points that you review and edit.
Purchases
The app is free to use with a limit of 5 saved deficiencies per month. Pro is a one-time $9.99 unlock that removes that limit and is tied to the install. Purchases and restore requests are processed through Google Play billing. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
No warranty
Deficiency Tag Loop is provided as is and as available. Anvilfield does not warrant that every output is complete or correct for every jobsite, jurisdiction, system, manufacturer device, or local rule.
Liability limit
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Anvilfield is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost work, injury, property damage, or project delay arising from use of the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow all limits, so these limits apply only where allowed.
