FiberCert DC Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 3, 2026

FiberCert DC is designed as an offline field tool. The app stores project names, cable IDs, test values, labels, patch records, endface notes, and generated exports on the device.

No account is required. The current app does not send telemetry, analytics, ads, project data, or personal data to a backend.

Camera and photos are used only when you choose to scan a cable ID or attach field evidence to a link. Evidence photos are copied into app-owned storage and associated with that cable ID on the device. FiberCert DC does not upload photos.

Export and printing are user initiated. If you share a PDF, CSV, or ZIP through Android share, or print through Android print services, that destination app, service, or printer handles the file under its own policy.

Backup restore is user initiated. FiberCert DC reads only the backup file you choose, then writes the restored project and evidence copies back into app-owned storage.

Purchases are handled by Google Play. Google may process purchase and account data for billing and restore-purchase flows.

To delete project data inside FiberCert DC, open More > Project Data and press and hold Move to Trash. Trash stays on the device for up to 14 days and can be restored or cleared from the same dialog. Android app settings can also clear FiberCert DC storage or uninstall the app. Remove generated export files from any folder, share destination, print service, or backup location where you saved them.
