Foot Candle Grid Privacy Policy

Summary

Foot Candle Grid is a local field tool. Anvilfield does not run a backend for this app, does not create user accounts, and does not collect your project, meter, photo, location, or export data.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores projects, areas, targets, meter readings, trespass readings, re-walk notes, settings, language choice, and entitlement state on your device. You can clear the local record from Settings. Removing the app also removes app-local records under normal Android behavior.

Camera and Sensor Use

The camera is used only when you choose to take an area photo, which can be stamped on-device with the area, station, reading, and verdict. The ambient light sensor may be used for screening estimates only. These readings are not sent to Anvilfield.

Sharing and Exports

When you export a PDF, PNG, CSV, or stamped photo, the file is created on your device. If you share it with email, Drive, print, messaging, or another app, that receiving app handles the file under its own policy.

Purchases

Pro purchases and restores use Google Play billing. Monthly, annual, and lifetime Pro are offered. Google processes purchase data under its own policies. The app stores only the local entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features. No advertising ID and no location data are collected.

Network Use

The app has no backend, account sync, analytics, or ads. the app may contact Google Play its services when you buy or restore Pro. That billing component may also process device, network-state, and diagnostic data needed to run purchase and restore.

Children

This app is for professional field use and is not directed to children.
