TieMap DC is designed as an offline field tool. The app does not require an account, does not run an Anvilfield backend service, and does not sell personal information.
Data Stored On Device
TieMap DC stores tower records, dimensions, local tag IDs, inspection events, checklist answers, signatures, saved presets, export preferences, and local entitlement state on the device. This data stays on the device unless the user chooses to export or share it.
Photos, Camera, And Sensors
The camera is used for optional scaffold tag scanning and photo-stamp export. The accelerometer is used for optional plumb and level checks. Camera images, scans, and sensor readings are processed locally for the selected app workflow. TieMap DC does not upload camera images, QR scan values, or sensor readings to an Anvilfield server.
Purchases
TieMap DC uses Google Play Billing for Pro purchases and restore. Google may process purchase and payment information under Google Play terms. TieMap DC stores only the local entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features.
Network Access And Google Components
TieMap DC includes Android network permissions for Google Play Billing and Google service components used by store purchase, restore, printing, sharing, and barcode-scanning dependencies. The app does not use a custom Anvilfield backend, does not require an account, and does not sync project records to a cloud service. Barcode scanning is intended to run on-device; Google Play services or bundled Google ML Kit components may provide the barcode scanner implementation depending on the device build.
Sharing And Export
When a user creates a PDF, CSV, photo stamp, roll-up, or batch export, the user controls where that file is shared. Shared files may contain tower dimensions, inspection notes, inspector names, signatures, dates, and tag IDs.
Children
TieMap DC is intended for jobsite professionals and is not directed to children.
