SunVault Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

SunVault is an offline solar sizing calculator. The app does not create user accounts, does not collect personal information, and does not send solar sizing inputs or saved calculations to an Anvilfield or SunVault server.

Local App Data

Saved calculations, custom appliance presets, favorites, settings, and the current draft are stored on the device. The user can delete saved calculations from inside the app. Android app uninstall removes the app's local storage.

Purchases

SunVault uses Google Play Billing for the one-time Pro unlock. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. SunVault receives the entitlement record needed to unlock Pro features, including the product ID and Google Play purchase token, and does not receive payment card details. Google Play Billing may use Google Play and Google Play services components to complete purchase and restore flows.

Reviews

SunVault may request a Google Play In-App Review after the user saves at least two builds. The request is handled by Google Play, may be ignored by Play quota or device availability, and never blocks the offline calculator. SunVault stores only a local flag that the review prompt was already requested.

Sharing

SunVault uses the Android share sheet only when the user chooses to share a spec sheet. Shared PNG, PDF, and text files are written to temporary app storage and then handed to the destination selected by the user.

Advertising, Analytics, And Accounts

SunVault does not show ads, does not initialize analytics SDKs, and does not provide account creation.
