Switchgear Receive QA is an Anvilfield app for switchgear receiving inspection and freight-claim documentation.
The app does not require an account. The app does not run a backend service. The app does not upload your records to Anvilfield.
What The App Stores
The app stores records on your device. Records can include lineup names, PO or job numbers, OEM names, carrier names, pro or bill-of-lading numbers, delivery dates, section notes, shortage notes, storage-condition entries, photos, PDF files, ZIP files, CSV files, and JSON files.
Photos
The app uses the camera when you choose to capture a receiving photo. Photos are saved on your device so they can be included in the receiving packet. The app can stamp a derivative image with the section label and defect tag for the PDF while preserving the original photo for the ZIP export.
Sharing
The app exports through the Android share sheet. You choose where a PDF, ZIP, CSV, or JSON file goes. If you share a packet to email, cloud storage, messaging, or another app, that app's privacy policy controls what happens next.
Android Backup And Transfer
Android-managed backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for app data in the release build. Records, photos, exported packets, settings, and the local Pro status cache are not intentionally copied by Android backup. To move records to another destination, export or share the files yourself.
Purchases
The Pro unlock is sold through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles the purchase flow, payment details, receipts, taxes, refunds, and purchase account data. Anvilfield does not receive your payment card number from this app.
Google Play Review
After you build a packet, the app may ask for a Google Play review through Google's in-app review flow. The app does not store your rating or review text. Google Play handles any rating or review you choose to submit.
Data Sent To Anvilfield
The app does not send inspection records, photos, analytics, crash reports, or personal data to Anvilfield.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose to take a receiving photo.
- Billing: used only to buy or restore the one-time Pro unlock through Google Play.
- Google Play review: used only after a packet is built, and only if Google Play supports the review flow on the device.
The app does not request location, microphone, contacts, calendar, SMS, phone, or nearby-device access.
Data Retention
Records stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. You can delete one lineup from the home screen, or use Delete all local records in Settings to remove saved lineup records, local photos, and local export files from this device. Exported files already shared to another app must be deleted from that destination.
Children
The app is a field-work tool for adults and is not directed to children.
