DWV Sizing: Plumber Exam Prep Privacy Policy

DWV Sizing: Plumber Exam Prep is an offline Android DWV sizing and exam-practice app by Anvilfield. It sizes branch drains, stacks, vents, and trap arms under its IPC 2021 method, includes worked practice problems, and creates PDF sizing worksheets and riser exports.

Data Stored On Your Device

The app stores the records and settings you create on your device:

• project name, job address, pipe material, code edition, use type, and project status
• wash groups, fixture selections, fixture tags, quantities, trap sizes, slopes, and measured trap-arm and vent lengths
• display settings, selected screen and project state, custom presets, onboarding state, and whether an optional review prompt has already been requested
• generated permit PDF and riser PNG files, plus local PDF export-history paths

These working records are stored in the app's private storage on your device. The audited release excludes its databases, preferences, and app files from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Data leaves the app only when you deliberately choose a system action described below.

No Anvilfield Account Or Server Collection

The app does not require an Anvilfield account. It does not send project names, job addresses, fixture data, measurements, presets, generated files, or settings to Anvilfield. Anvilfield does not operate a cloud-sync or project-storage service for this app.

The audited release does not request Android's Internet permission and does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, cross-app tracking, crash-reporting, or cloud-storage SDKs.

User-Directed Exports And System Actions

If you choose to export, print, or share a permit PDF or riser PNG, the app invokes Android's system interface. Only the file and accompanying text shown for that action are offered to the destination app or service you select. That destination processes its copy under its own privacy practices.

If you choose the in-app rating option, Google Play handles that optional system action under Google's privacy policy. The app does not receive your Google account information, rating, or review text.

Anvilfield does not sell data and does not share local working records for advertising or marketing.

Retention And Deletion

Projects remain in app-private storage until you delete an individual project, use Settings > Clear local project data, clear the app's Android storage, or uninstall the app. Custom presets remain until you use Clear local project data, clear app storage, or uninstall. Clear local project data removes saved projects, associated local export-history entries, and custom presets; generated private export files remain until you clear Android app storage or uninstall the app.

Copies already shared, printed, saved, or otherwise delivered to another app or service are controlled by that destination and remain there until you delete them using that destination's controls. Anvilfield has no account or server-side project copy to delete.

Security

Working records use Android app-private storage and your device's security controls. Keep your device access controls and Android software current, and review a destination before sending a file to it.

Children

This professional plumbing study and field tool is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

Anvilfield may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. A material change will be reflected in the effective date above.
