The short version
Transformer Oil DGA Reader stores your jobs, transformer records, oil samples, attached photos, settings, entitlement state, and generated export files on your device. Anvilfield does not run a backend for this app, does not collect app telemetry, and does not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
Data stored on your device
The app can store job names, owner or site text you enter, transformer serials, nameplate details, oil test values, gas readings, reviewer names, reviewer notes, attached lab or kit photos, asset-tag scan results, saved presets, settings, local entitlement cache, and generated PDF, CSV, and PNG files. This data stays in app storage unless you share a file, delete the data, clear app storage, or uninstall the app.
Network use
The oil grading engine, Duval triangle and pentagon plots, C57.104 status, trend calculations, saved records, and exports work without internet. Google Play Billing may use network access to buy, renew, or restore paid access. Android share and print services may use network access only when you choose a destination app that needs it.
Purchases
Paid access is handled by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under Google's own terms. Transformer Oil DGA Reader stores a local entitlement cache so paid features can keep working offline after purchase or restore.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used only when you choose to attach a lab page, kit display, nameplate photo, or scan an owner asset tag. The app does not use the camera as a measuring instrument.
Sharing
Exports are saved locally first. If you choose to share a PDF, CSV, or PNG, Android opens the share sheet and you pick the destination app. Anvilfield does not receive a copy.
Analytics and ads
Transformer Oil DGA Reader has no ad SDK, no analytics SDK, and no tracking SDK.
Children
Transformer Oil DGA Reader is a professional trade tool for adults. It is not directed to children.
Deleting local data
The Settings screen includes Clear local records, which removes jobs and samples from the device. You can also remove local data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in Android settings. Export files already saved outside app storage are controlled by the destination folder or app you selected.
Changes
If a future version changes data handling, Anvilfield will update this policy and the Google Play Data Safety details before that version ships.
