FilmProof Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 2, 2026
FilmProof is published by Anvilfield. It is an Android app for dry-film-thickness inspection logs and signed conformance reports.
Data the app stores
FilmProof stores jobs, owners, locations, coating specs, gage readings, gauge verification records, inspector profile text, signatures, settings, and generated PDFs on your device. This data is used only to run the app and prepare reports.
Data sent to Anvilfield
FilmProof does not send job data, readings, reports, signatures, or inspector profile data to Anvilfield. The core workflow has no account and no backend.
Purchases
FilmProof Pro uses Google Play Billing. Google processes the purchase and may handle payment, account, and device data under Google's own policies. FilmProof stores a local entitlement record so paid features keep working offline.
Sharing and printing
When you export, share, print, or save a PDF, you choose where that report goes. The receiving app, printer, or storage provider handles the file under its own policy.
Data FilmProof does not collect
- No account registration.
- No analytics SDK.
- No advertising SDK or ad identifier use.
- No location, microphone, contacts, camera, photo library, or Anvilfield cloud sync.
- No network permission in the Android app manifest.
Delete local data
You can delete saved jobs from inside the app by using Clear local data in Settings. You can also uninstall the app to remove app-private data from the device.
