Short Version
PitWitness Test-Well stores route records, station records, well records, readings, notes, photos, GPS stamps, settings, backups, and exports on your device. The app has no account system, no Anvilfield server, no backend, no remote sync, no advertising SDK, and no third-party analytics SDK. Anvilfield does not sell, rent, or share your field records.
Data the App Stores
The app can store route names, station names, well IDs, reading values, timestamps, trend history, notes, photo attachments, GPS stamps, accuracy values, app settings, Pro status, backup files, and export files. This data stays in the app's local storage unless you choose to export, backup, share, or delete it.
Exports, Backups, and Sharing
When you export a route, create a backup, or share a file, Android opens the system share or save flow. The destination you choose receives the file. Anvilfield does not receive those files. Review the receiving app, drive, email service, or storage location before you send field records outside your phone.
Permissions
Camera access is used only when you add photos to a route, station, well, or reading. Location access is used only when you add GPS stamps and accuracy details to field evidence. Google Play Billing is used only for the one-time Pro unlock. The app does not use these permissions for ads, analytics, tracking, or remote sync.
Network Use
PitWitness Test-Well is built to work offline. The app does not send route records, station records, well records, readings, notes, photos, GPS stamps, settings, backups, or exports to an Anvilfield server. Google Play Billing may contact Google Play to process and restore the one-time Pro unlock.
Delete Your Data
You can clear local data from the app's Settings screen, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Files you exported, backed up, or shared are controlled by the app or storage location where you placed them.
Children
PitWitness Test-Well is a professional field utility. It is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
