Backflow Test Report & Repair Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Backflow Test Report & Repair, branded in the app as Backflow Tester, stores tester, site, assembly, repair, truck-stock, gauge, photo, and export data on the device. The app has no backend, no account, no cloud sync, and no telemetry.
The app can use the camera for serial scanning and nameplate or fixed-assembly photos. The app can use Android share and print flows when the user exports a report, CSV, stamped photo, or truck card. Those exported files go only to the share target the user chooses. Optional in-app review prompts use Google Play services.
Anvilfield does not receive site records, repair records, photos, or gauge values from the app.
Retention And Deletion
Local records remain on the device until you remove them. The Settings screen includes Clear local records, which removes local tester, site, assembly, repair, PASS, truck-stock, gauge, import-mapping, and managed record-photo data from the device. The site action menu also includes Delete site records for removing one site and its related local records and managed photos. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling the app removes the remaining local app copy. Anvilfield has no server-side account or record copy to delete.
Security
Working records use Android app-scoped storage and your device's security controls. The app does not transmit test, repair, photo, or gauge records to Anvilfield. Any exported copy is protected and retained by the destination you choose.
