HeatBand DC Privacy

Effective date: June 16, 2026

HeatBand DC stores projects, WPS presets, joint records, pass readings, material tags, recipient settings, and exports on your device. The app has no account system, backend, telemetry, ads, or cloud sync.

The app uses the camera only when you open the material-tag scanner. It reads barcode or QR text for filler lot, base heat number, or joint ID. HeatBand DC does not use the camera or sensors to measure welds, volts, amps, temperature, or travel.

Exports leave the device only when you choose a share target such as email, Drive, print, or messages. Once you share an export, that target's privacy and retention rules apply.

RevenueCat-backed Google Play is used for the one-time Pro purchase and restore checks. Billing account details and payment data are handled by Google Play. HeatBand DC stores only the local receipt-backed entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features.

Read the HeatBand DC terms of use for field-use limits, Pro purchase handling, no-warranty terms, and liability limits.

Security

Records stay in app storage on the device and are protected by Android's app sandbox and the device lock you configure. HeatBand DC does not transmit records to Anvilfield servers.

Retention and deletion

Records stay on your device until you delete local records, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or remove exported files from the share or file location you chose. Copies already shared to email, Drive, print, messages, or another destination must be deleted from that destination.

Children

HeatBand DC is a trade tool for working adults and is not directed to children.
