HeatBand DC Terms
Effective date: June 16, 2026
These terms apply when you use HeatBand DC, an Android field app by Anvilfield.
Field Use
Use HeatBand DC as a field aid for weld heat-input notes, WPS band checks, per-pass records, material trace fields, and exports. You are responsible for confirming readings, process basis, efficiency, WPS ranges, interpass limits, report content, and acceptance decisions against your WPS, project requirements, CWI direction, and local requirements.
HeatBand DC does not qualify a WPS, measure the arc, measure temperature, decide acceptance, replace a competent welder or inspector, or provide engineering, legal, inspection, or certification authority. The WPS, CWI, coupon, NDT lab, and project team remain the source of field decisions.
Pro Purchases
One WPS preset, one joint, and one export are free. Pro access is sold through RevenueCat-backed Google Play as a one-time non-subscription purchase. Google Play handles payment details and refund requests under Google Play terms and policies. HeatBand DC uses only the local receipt-backed purchase state needed to unlock Pro features on the device.
Your Records
You control the projects, WPS presets, joints, passes, material tags, settings, and exports you create in the app. Review every export before sending it. Keep your own backups of job records that matter to your work, contract, or client.
No Warranty
To the maximum extent allowed by law, HeatBand DC is provided without warranties. Anvilfield does not promise that the app will meet every project need, prevent out-of-window welds, satisfy any contract term, or replace professional judgment.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Anvilfield is not liable for job costs, rejected welds, delay, rework, failed inspections, loss of data, lost profits, or other losses that result from using or being unable to use the app.
Privacy
Read the app-specific HeatBand DC privacy policy for data handling details.
