OTDR Bidirectional Loss Log is a field aid. It records your readings, averages them both directions, and reconciles them to the budget you enter. It does not replace your OTDR, it does not accept or reject a fiber run for the owner, and it is not a stamped optical-network design. You and your acceptance authority remain responsible for the final pass or fail and for the test method and limits used.
