Use

Salt Cell Service is an offline field aid for trained pool route technicians. It calculates salt dose, cell-clean acid ratios and soak time, and salt-cell diagnostics from values you enter, and it logs and exports service work. It is not a licensed authority, a calibrated meter, or a control system. Follow the equipment manual, the acid SDS, and local rules.

Field Limits

You are responsible for entering correct pool gallonage, readings, cell model, controller codes, and product settings. The calculations are deterministic field math from your inputs, not metrology. Verify every salt-add, acid ratio, soak time, and diagnosis against the equipment manual, an independent salt test, and local rules before you act.

Purchases

The free tier finishes the calculators, diagnostics, the preset library, text summaries, customer PDFs, and up to 10 service logs each month. Pro is a one-time $9.99 purchase that unlocks unlimited service history, route export, roster CSV import, and JSON, PDF, and ZIP evidence export. Purchases are processed through Google Play billing. Google Play handles purchase processing and restore. A verified Pro entitlement is cached on the device so paid features keep working without signal.

Local Data

Pool profiles, readings, service records, notes, photos, settings, and Pro entitlement state stay on the device unless you export or share them. You choose the app or service that receives any exported summary, PDF, CSV, JSON, or ZIP file.

No Warranty

Salt Cell Service is provided as is. Anvilfield does not warrant that any calculated salt amount, acid ratio, soak time, diagnosis, or exported file proves correct service, equipment health, or fitness for a specific pool.

Liability Limit

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Anvilfield is not liable for chemical waste, equipment damage, rework cost, water-balance problems, or indirect damage from use of the app.
