SaltLedger Privacy Policy

SaltLedger is an offline deicing rate calculator and service-log app for commercial snow contractors. The app is built to keep your work records on your device.

Data We Collect

SaltLedger does not collect personal data for the developer. The app does not send your site names, addresses, zones, service logs, notes, photos, backups, or location stamps to the developer.

Data Stored On Your Device

SaltLedger stores app data locally on your device, including:

This data stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or delete it.

Location

SaltLedger asks for location permission only when you use Pro service-log features that need a GPS stamp. Location is used to stamp your own local service record. The app does not send that location to the developer.

Camera And Photos

SaltLedger asks for camera or photo access only when you add photo evidence to a Pro service log. Photos are copied into the app's local storage and are used for your local records and PDF exports.

Purchases

SaltLedger uses Google Play Billing for the one-time Pro unlock. Google may process purchase information under Google's own policies. SaltLedger stores only the local Pro status needed to keep paid features working offline.

Sharing And Exports

If you export a PDF ticket, season packet, or JSON backup, you control where that file goes. Files you share may be handled by the app or service you choose in Android's share sheet.

Data Deletion

You can delete SaltLedger app data inside the app from More -> Clear local app data. You can also delete app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage in Android settings. Local backups or exported PDFs that you saved or shared must be deleted from those locations separately.

Children

SaltLedger is a business tool for commercial snow and ice work. It is not directed to children.
