Overview

WeldVT is an Android app for visual weld inspection reports, measured AWS D1.1:2025 VT calls, NCR records, repair re-inspection notes, inspector settings, and PDF report export. This policy explains what the app stores, what it does not collect, and what happens when you choose to share, print, purchase, restore, or contact support.

Data stored locally

WeldVT stores app data on your device so the app can work without an Anvilfield backend.

Anvilfield does not receive this local app data through an app-controlled cloud service.

Data WeldVT does not collect

WeldVT does not include a tracking stack.

Google Play Billing

WeldVT can use Google Play Billing for the one-time Pro unlock, product ID com.anvilfield.weldvtreport.pro_unlock. Purchase and restore requests are handled by Google Play and may involve Google processing purchase identifiers, transaction status, and account information under Google's own policies. WeldVT stores only the local entitlement state needed to keep Pro features available after purchase or restore.

Reports, sharing, and printing

When you generate a PDF report, WeldVT writes the report file locally on the device. When you choose to share, print, email, or otherwise export a report, the receiving app or service you select may process that file under its own privacy policy. Anvilfield does not control those external apps or services.

Support email

If you email support, Anvilfield receives the email address, message, and any files or details you choose to include. Do not send inspection records or project files unless you want support to review them.

Children's privacy

WeldVT is a professional trade tool for adults and is not directed to children.

Data retention

Local app records remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage, uninstall the app, or delete exported report files. Support email is retained only as needed to answer support requests and keep business records.
