SteelCoat is an offline structural-steel coating takeoff app from Anvilfield. It is designed to store project, customer, member-list, coating-system, pricing, export, and preference data locally on your device.
SteelCoat does not require an Anvilfield account. Anvilfield does not run a SteelCoat cloud sync service and does not collect your project takeoff data through the app.
Information Stored On Your Device
The app may store project names, customer labels, steel members, coating systems, labor and material pricing inputs, presets, generated export records, settings, and a cached Pro entitlement. This data remains in app storage on your device unless you choose to share, print, export, back up, or delete it through device features.
Purchases
SteelCoat uses Google Play Billing for the one-time Pro unlock and restore-purchase flow. Google Play may process purchase identifiers and related purchase information under Google's terms and privacy policies. SteelCoat stores only the local entitlement information needed to keep Pro features available after a verified purchase.
Sharing And Exports
When you choose to export, share, print, email, or otherwise send a takeoff sheet, material order sheet, PDF, or CSV, that action is handled by Android and the destination app or service you select. Review the privacy practices of any destination service before sending job or customer information.
Advertising, Analytics, And Tracking
SteelCoat does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking SDKs. The app does not collect the Android advertising ID for Anvilfield analytics or advertising.
Network Access
Core takeoff, estimating, storage, and export preparation features are designed to work offline. Network access may be used by Google Play services for purchase and restore operations, and by Android or another app when you choose to share exported files.
Data Deletion
You can delete SteelCoat data by using the in-app clear-local-data control where available, deleting individual projects, or uninstalling the app. Clearing local data removes local projects, exports, presets, settings, and the cached Pro entitlement; eligible purchases can be restored through Google Play.
Children
SteelCoat is a trade and business estimating tool. It is not directed to children.
Changes
Anvilfield may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
