What is Sag Field Card?
Sag Field Card is an offline Android app that gives line crews a PASS or FAIL sag card against the issued stringing chart, using direct sag, return wave, tension, or transit measurements.
Does Sag Field Card work offline?
Yes. The verdict engine, return wave timer, chart library, saved cards, and PDF or CSV generation are local. Files leave the phone only when the user shares an export.
Does Sag Field Card approve clearances or replace the stringing chart?
No. Sag Field Card is a field aid, not a stamped engineering document. The issued stringing chart, utility spec, NESC, AHJ, and responsible engineer govern. It does not approve clearances, create a stringing chart, control switching, approve LOTO, or say a line is safe to energize.
