ANVILFIELD Try FieldOS

Readiness check

Are you ready for your switchgear delivery?

MV and LV switchgear is long-lead, expensive, and easy to damage in transit. Receiving is the cheapest place to catch a problem, and the claim window closes fast. Answer honestly for the lineup you have coming. Your score is calculated on your device; enter an email only if you want the receiving checklist sent over.

1. Do you have the approved submittal and packing list on site to check the gear against?
2. Is a rigging and offload plan set for the weight and the path to the storage or install spot?
3. Does the crew know to check the impact and tilt indicators before signing the bill of lading?
4. Is the claim window understood, with photos taken before anything is unloaded?
5. Is the indoor, dry, heated storage (or energized space heaters) ready if the gear sits before install?
6. Will the nameplate ratings (voltage, ampacity, kAIC, config) be verified against the approved submittal on receipt?
7. Is a baseline insulation-resistance (megger) reading and desiccant or humidity-indicator check planned for receipt?
8. Is the receiving record tied to each lineup section with photos, shortages, and signoff in one place?
