ANVILFIELD Try FieldOS

Field glossary

Equipotential bonding

Tying all pool metal and the water to the same voltage under NEC 680 so there is no difference to shock a swimmer

Used across 3 Anvilfield field guides, most in Plumbing.

Also defined as

  • Landscaping: Tying all the metal of the dock together and to ground so a fault cannot create a voltage difference in the water
  • Electrical: Tying conductive parts together so they sit at the same potential, with nothing for a body to bridge
