Equipotential bonding
Tying all pool metal and the water to the same voltage under NEC 680 so there is no difference to shock a swimmer

- Landscaping: Tying all the metal of the dock together and to ground so a fault cannot create a voltage difference in the water
- Electrical: Tying conductive parts together so they sit at the same potential, with nothing for a body to bridge
