The pump's displacement, how fast it moves gas; sets pull-down speed, not the depth it can reach

- Concrete: Cubic feet per minute of airflow; Table 1 ties grinder and tuckpointing collectors to 25 cfm or more per inch of wheel diameter
- Landscaping: Cubic feet per minute, the volume of air a compressor delivers, which is what moves the water out of the lines
