Segregation

Non-uniform separation of coarse and fine aggregate (physical) or cold lumps in the mat (thermal)

Concrete: Separation of the coarse aggregate from the paste, from dropping or moving the mix too far
Non-uniform distribution of the mix across the mat, in gradation, temperature, or both
