Force main
The pressurized pipe that carries pumped sewage from the station to the point where it can flow by gravity again
Also defined as
- Pressurized pipe downstream of a pump or ejector, sized and built differently than a gravity sewer
- The pressurized discharge line from the pump until it discharges into gravity flow
